Lymphedema
Lymphedema is a condition characterized by the accumulation of lymphatic fluid, often occurring after lymph node removal or damage. Manual lymphatic drainage helps to stimulate lymph flow, reduce swelling, fibrosis prevention, pain and discomfort relief and enhance immune function.
Clients should see me after they have been to a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. I do not provide compression garments or fit you for compression garments.
Lipedema
Lipedema is a chronic medical condition characterized by the abnormal and disproportionate accumulation of fat in certain areas of the body, typically the lower extremities such as the thighs, buttocks, and sometimes the lower legs. This condition primarily affects women and is often bilateral, meaning it affects both sides of the body. Manual lymphatic drainage can help decrease pain and inflammation in affected areas.
